Short descriptionThe ruin of a Gothic keep. Built in the middle of the 14the century to serve as one of the main castles of the Pernstejn's clan. The castle was abadoned at some time after year 1403 for an unknown reason.
ExpositionsIn the district can be seen very well preserved ramparts and broad fosses. A preserved part of one tower and rare remainders of the building's bases.
Interesting detailConsidering it's quite early doom it has an interesting range and complexity of its fortifications.
ValuationToday, only very well preserved ramparts, fosses and remains of the tower testify of the keep's once grandiosity. Less eligible as a trip's purpose on its own but perfect to be fitted into a round trip to Pyšolec and Zubštejn.
