Short descriptionWell preserved storeyed house from the beginning of the 18th century, closely connected with the village's iron industry history. A village with iron mills existed on today's village place already in the beginning of the 16th century. Today's Karlovice originated in the beginning of the 18th century. Object with a preserved Silesian estate character was bought by Bruntálské regional museum in 1974.
ExpositionsExpositions forest cultivating technics, forest harvesting technics, forestry and blod sports, Rudolf Tamm's graphics, Mikulkové Brothers' photographies, "The Nature Around Us". Agricultural machines and tools exposition in nearby barn.
ValuationThe museum itself consists of a rather small curbed house with a quality exposition. Karlovice are a neat village with a nice environment and picturesque surroundings suitable for touristics as well as mushrooms picking.
