| Short description | Three-winged, storeyed estate rebuilt in Baroque style (from the former Renaissance castle which used to be located on the place of a former Medieval fort, so called Upper Fort) in 1738-1740 by K.I. Dientzenhoferem for Břevnovský Monastery abbot Benn Löbl. The western wing conceals St. Vavřinec castle chapel with J.K. Kolář's fresco decor. The castle is in the present day occupied by The Castle Gallery of Kladno City, Sládečkovo Homeland Museum and Kladno City Library branch office. |
