| Short description | Originally a Gothic keep from the beginning of the 14th century. Enlarged and strenghtened the fortification in the 15th century, rebuilt into a housing in the 16th and 17th century. Wasting away since the 18th century. Rebuilt in Romanticism style into a summer mansion by archduke Evžen Habsburský on the break of the 19th and 20th century. |
| Expositions | Romanticism interiors with rich paintings and woodcarver decor by local folk artists, furnished with period mobiliar. Exposition is divided into four tours: CLASSIC TOUR - a complex picture of Bouzov keep. Dinig halls for grandmaster and guests, pillar hall, the knight's corridor with guest rooms, bathroom, tribune, coadjutor's rooms (Elizabeth's palac), hall, prince's rooms, audience hall with anteroom, household rooms - dining room, rooms and bathroom, archive, chapel, armory. Large Tour fitted for visitors with a deep interest in history. CLASSIC TOUR + the private flat of grandmaster Evžen (anteroom, office, bedroom, batler's room), grandmaster's adjutant apartment, with installation of graphics collection, keep's kitchen complex ("cold" and central kitchen, lavatory), household rooms (dining room, rooms and bathroom), archive, keep's orchestra dressing room. Castle Tour interior installation of 13 rooms in the ward in the style of lower clerk aristocracy livings. Blue room with vedutas of keeps and castles, green room of grandmaster Vilem, rose bedroom with friary mansions aquarels, library, little lounge and little bedroom, receiving room, mens bedroom, ladies lounge and ladies bedroom, dining hall, green bedroom and chinese lounge. Tour "Where One Doesn't Enter" - a secret corridor with grandmaster's little room, side stairway, "the hall of the knights of the round table", guards room, loft, so called spinnery, keep's fortifications (drawbridge, portcullis, defence tribune with crenellation), the room to portcullis, southern cellars ("knechtovna"). |
| Interesting detail | Allegedly the birthplace of king Jiří from Peděbrady. An often interest of filmmakers (fairytales, i.e. O princezně Jasněnce a létajícím ševci). |
| Valuation | This keep belongs to one of ours most beautiful and youngest estates. When looking at it no one can say this estate is only cca one century old. It is approached as o perfect Middle Age keep, with interiors furnished with the best period comfort. |

| Locations | 14 km West from Litovel. The keep is built on a distinctive hill at the end of the same-names village. There is a rather small wild park enclosed. The access is right from the village through a well marked road. |

| Access and localities | |
| Arrive | Car The best access is route 35 which leads to Olomouc. Pass village Dolní Krčma and depart towards Loštice, Vlčice and Doly, where is a detour to Bouzov. Paid parking lot is behind the village, cca 500 metres from the keep, free parking only in the village. Public Transport The closest train station is Moravičany on track 270 between Mohelnice and Oloumouc. The keep is about 8.5 kms far from the station, air line. |

| Touristic marks |  The blue mark comes from Moravičany (cca 11 kms), Loštice (cca 7,5 kms) and Jeřmaň (cca 2 kms), and from Bouzov continues to Javoříčko (cca 5 kms) and Cholina (cca 17 kms). The green mark comes from Bílá Lhota (cca 9 kms) and Olešnice (cca 4,5 kms) and from Bouzova continues to Doly (cca 1 km), Kozov (cca 3,5 kms), then leads towards Dzbel (cca 18,5 kms). The yellow mark comes from Svojanovský dvůr (cca 29 kms) and Kozov (cca 3,5 kms) and ends by the keep. |
