| Interesting detail | The point of many visits by the prominent people of the history (Polish king Zikmund I., Roman caesar and Czech king Rudolf II., his successor Matyáš, "winter" king Fridrich Falcký). The castle has an unusual triangle platform, which traced former town fortifications. |
| Valuation | Castle's exteriors are a perfect example of Baroque architecture. There are a lot of valuable and beautifully furnitured rooms in the interiors. We can see rich ceiling paintimgs and stuccos, as well as first-rate mobiliar furnitured rooms. |

| Arrive | Car The best access is road 11 from Rýmařov or Opava. Parking is possible close to the castle (paid), by the castle (limited number) or at the crossing of roads 11 and 45, before a football stadion (free). Public Transport Bruntal is on train track 310 between Olomouc and Krnov. The station is right in the city and the castle is cca 1 km far. |
