Short descriptionThe keep originated most likley in the 13th century. It was originally a king's keep, pawned several times from the 15th century and then owned by aristocrary. Rebuilt and extended a few times in Gothic and Renaissance times. Part of the interiors modified in Baroque style. There is a museum from 1848 established by Berchtold's clan.
ExpositionsInteriors offer a presentation of life style and housing culture in 15th-19th century. Also scientific and egyptologic collections, library, architect-historical exposition and gallery of contemporary art. Close to the keep is Saint Barbora Chapel with aristocracy owners' tomb, expositions held here sometimes.
Interesting detailOne of the eldest keeps in Moravia. Square stone with so called liden of innocence on the terrace.
