| Short description | Built in the 90s of the 17th century as the Buchlov keep was in unsanitory conditions. Two individual hemicycle buildings with a terrace garden and english park with lots of rare woody species. |
| Expositions | Permanent exposition of the last owners' 15 rooms with historic and uniquely authentic furniture. During 1905 - 1914 changed into a representative mansim to the Austro-Hungarian foreign affairs minister Leopold Berchtold. Interiors are amply decored with stucco and paintings (i.e. the main hall, bedrooms with paintings in oval stuke noisttes, etc.). Petřvaldský and Berchtold clans' collections. Castle vinotheque. |
| Interesting detail | This castle is considered one of the clearest Baroque villas of italian style in Moravia. Part of the object is Baroque garden and landscape park of 19ha with an inmportant collection of 220 coniferous and 260 decidous taxons of woody species. Special collection of rhododendrons and azaleas from the end of April to the beginning of June. Also an unique yet traditional collection of fuchsias from the beginning of June to the end of September, held in the castle park. First-aid station for wild animals and a a zoo-corner to be opened for public in 2003. |
