Short descriptionLate Gothic fort - connecting joint between a yeoman fort and noble keep. Fort built in 1488 - 1491. Fortifications strengthened and built corner tower in the 16th century. Plundered by the caesar army in 1619. Small Baroque modifications made in the 18th century.
ExpositionsInteresting and constructively unique exterior.
Interesting detailUnique in its transitional form. Yeoman fort, which is gradually changing into a keep. Only a small number of these buildings have been preserved in our country.
ValuationIt is sad that this unique transitional joint between a fort and a keep wasn't maintained as a cultural heritage and it had been slowly wasting away. New owner is reconstructing this fort nowadays so its condition will be only better.
