| Short description | Originally a fort from the 15th century. New-Renaissance chateau built on the place of the fort in 1528. It was bought by Karel Chotek in 1841 and rebuilt in the style of Austrian Rigorous Empire. Rebuilt itno a New-Renaissance villa on the break of the 19th and 20th century. English park. |
| Expositions | Historical interiors with period furnishing remind the influence of the Chotek family, the ancestors of Žofie, among others, who was František Ferdinand d'Este's wife and who was also murdered in the Sarajevo assault in 1914. Interiors' dominant lies in the first floor - the main hall with a surmounted ceiling, fireplace and stuke decor and also the dining hall in the basememnt, amply decored with New-Renaissance carved wooden boarding. Chateau interiors illustrate the housing style of the small aristocracy in the 19th century. |
