It is the first Gothic building in Prague. The monstery was also a cemetery to the Premyslids. Abandoned and wasting away during Hussite Wars. Inhabited again by Dominicans and later by Klarisky. Closed down in January 1782. The whole areal was later changed into storehouses and flats for the poor. Reconstructed since 1963 for the needs of the Prague National Gallery.
