| Short description | This church belongs to the oldest ones in the Old Town, sources first mention it along a flood in 1273. Year 1635 was in the name of changes - the church went under the possession of the Benedicts Order from the Emmaus Monastery who decided to build a new monastery here. They also planned a large cathedral reconstruction, but they decided to brought down the old church and built a new one instead. The construction began in 1732 and it was consecrated in 1737. |
