| Short description | The former Romanic basilica was built by King Vratislav II. By the end of the 11th century, it suffered a fire in 1249 and was then renovated in the Gothic style. New Gothic cathedral built during Charles IV.'s reign, Renaissance and Baroque rebuilt later. The present appearance is New-Gothic from the end of the 19th century. |
