Short descriptionThis Baroque church was constructed by German Lutherans in 1611-13 according to Filippi. Whitefriars rebuilt it after 1624 and erected their own monatsery next to it. Church's orientation was changed during the construction. Tower built in 1669.
ExpositionsPreserved altar of the former Lutheran church, furnishing from the 17th century, the famous wax statuette of Pražské Jezulátko (Infant Jesus of Prague) given by Polyxena from Lobkovic on the middle altar. Painting of St. Šimon Stock by P. Brandl on the side altar.
Interesting detailCrypt with Whitefriars graves ander the church. The bodies have been dried out by dry air.
