Short descriptionThe ruins of a Gothic keep. The keep used to serve as a defence to gold mines and also guarded trade road from Vratislav towards Bruntál. Built in the second half of the 13th century. Suffered a fire and renovation in 1445. Conquered and partially destroyed in 1467, never renovated since then.
ExpositionsKeep areal with ramparts remains and elevated keep core. Bastion remains in the fortifications.
Interesting detailBastion remains from the 15th centuries are, from fortification development view, interesting. They were defending the keep with sideways fire.
ValuationThe ruins are of a rather less important keep. Only a little telling vestiges remained so there isn't any romantic silhouette. It is an interesting stop when going to Zlaté Hory from Rejvíz.
