| Short description | King's Gothic keep founded in 1260 by Přemysl Otakarem II. Since the end of Hussite wars the keep's owner changed from king to aristocracy. Among the owners was also Albrecht from Valdštejn. Then it was used as a monastery. Begun turning into ruins since the end of the 18th century. Intensely reconstructed in the last 50 years. |
| Expositions | Accessible is the section of the former upper keep (very important early Gothic chapel with crossing vault, old king's palace, purkrabstvi), a big part of preserved keeps's wallings, Devil's tower. The Calvary with little Baroque chapels alongside the access road. The big tower opened as an outlook tower. |
| Interesting detail | Václav II with his mother queen Kunhuta was prisoned here. Unique keep's chapel with crossing vault and tribune inbetween two coats of walls. |
