Short descriptionOriginally a clan keep established in the 13th century, later a kings keep rebuilt in the 16th and 17th century into a castle. Abandoned to his faith after 1945, suffered a fire and was wasting away. It is a ruin today.
ExpositionsKeep and castle district - terraces, courts, torsos of palace, towers and other buildings.
Interesting detailWater well carved in rock, 40 metres deep. J. W. Goethe often used to visit his friend J. K. Auersperg here. Mariánskolázeňské Elegy's place of origin.
