| Short description | Renaissance castle which was originally a Gothic episcopal pals. Gradual rebuilding turned it into a comfortbale yet fortified Renaissance complex with a park and a agrden. |

| Valuation | This is one of the most important architectonic relics in Western Bohemia. The keep was rebuilt into a Renaissance representative mansion in the 16th century. Unusual is also the nature-landscape park of 40 ha's, by the castle. |

| Touristic marks |  The green mark begins in Domažlice (cca 10 kms) town centre, continues via Kněžský vrch (cca 3 kms), then from Horšovský Týn goes to Semošice (cca 3 kms) and Doubrava (cca 6 kms). The yellow marks begins close to train station (cca 900 metres), goes around the castle and through castle park and leads to Kocourov (cca 3 kms), then to Dolní Městečko (cca 4,8 kms) and Nový Dvůr (cca 6,5 kms). |
